CREATING A HAMPTONS DREAM

We jumped at the chance to bring our client’s ‘Hampton’s inspired’ dream home to life. This beautiful new home is currently under construction in Applecross.

The Hamptons aesthetic truly is the perfect showcase for the craftsmanship of a Brian Burke Homes tradesman. Architectural details of custom mouldings, panelling, custom doors and a hand crafted balustrade will create a home that is unique and classic whilst a neutral and soft colour palette will provide the casual, relaxed feel of a Hamptons interior complemented by comfortable furnishings, soft lines and simple styling accessories.

This true family home will provide for every comfort and allow our clients and their family to truly enjoy time together.

COLOUR
For our Hamptons style colours are soft and the palette restrained. All internal timberwork is painted white which while a neutral accents the architectural details, bringing them to the fore of the homes interior. Draw from the colours of nature, such as neutrals, sandy creams, bleached timber tones & tinted blues – ranging from duck egg blue, aqua & navy. Or try warm corals, teamed with teal & charcoal.

SPACE
Traditionally a Hamptons home will have a large free form living area whilst other rooms are allocated as dedicated spaces and the same can be said of this design. Featuring a large Family, Dining and Kitchen space with Breakfast Nook. There is also a separate Office and Library and a dedicated Lounge. With high ceilings and generous room proportions, the flow of this house will work seamlessly.

COMFORT
While Hamptons homes look elegant, light and bright, they also feel cosy and inviting. Use large lounges and occasional chairs to make the space welcoming, and add texture with throws, rugs and oversize cushions. Our client is just about to embark on the selection of furnishing for their Home and we will keep you updated with their choices.

NATURAL
Bring the outdoors in with lots of greenery, seamless transitions between external doors and a colour palette that carries through from both spaces. To maintain this we have recessed the door thresholds from the Living spaces out to the Veranda’s and carried the same flooring though.  Using natural materials like wicker, cane and rattan for furniture is great, too.
